Hi everybody,

I am very interested in recording videos of events and programs. I have bought Sony Handycam HDR-PJ810 and recorded few videos. But I am having a hard time transferring these from my camcorder to the computer. Each file is more than 5 GB.

Do I need to convert these into different format? How can we upload to websites? We don't want to publish in you tube, but instead our personal / other websites. How can I find out the ways to do this? Any help / suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

I am using MacBoook Air (model: 4.2) Mac OSX (version: 10.7.5) and it is really amazing.

But, I am having one minor issue. I am not able to locate the hard disk icon on the desktop. I saw it until last week and this week onwards it got disappeared. I tried to see if there are any settings where I can set it to Show the icon. But I couldn't find any settings as well.

How can I make it appear on the desktop? Please kindly advise. Thanks in advance.

I am having MacBook Air (13 inch) with OS X version Mavericks (10.9) and it is all working fine.

I am trying to do a mail merge, but it looks like Pages 5.0 is not supporting mail merge any more. I am not able to find any way to link to the contacts. I am not sure how can I use the Numbers Document for adding addresses to do mail merge. I have looked into all the options provided in the application, but I couldn't find any option.

Is this feature available or not? I thought that it will definitely...

I am using a Dell Inspiron 14 laptop with windows 7 in it. Everything is working pretty well, except playing videos giving me strange problems.

When I try to play videos from iTunes the audio and video gets out-of-sync soon. To avoid that I tried to pause the video and played again with 20 second interval. But This doesn't last long and the problem is being repeated again. But, the same videos are being played properly from the Quick Time player. I feel that the problem is with iTunes. Yesterday I bought a new Blackberry 9900 phone. I am trying to synchronize contacts from outlook 7 running on my windows 7 laptop.

Beginning it worked well, but in the middle it stopped synchronizing. It got stuck for several minutes. After that I forcefully stopped the Blackberry Desktop Software. After that I reinstalled the Desktop Software and tried again. But nothing worked.

I have been using a Blackberry 9720 since 6 months back. It worked very well all the days.

But today I got a different issue with charging. Morning when I keep from charging, after 3 hours I checked it but it didn't charge at all. It is switched off completely. I removed the battery and again started charging, but faced the same issue. I have one more spare battery with me. I tried with those new batteries, but no luck.

I am a college student, studying Engineering. 1 month ago I bought a new HP Pavilion g6-2249wm Fusion 750GB with pre-installed Windows 8. Beginning it worked properly.

But 3 days onwards when I turn on laptop immediately the mouse is kept on flashing continuously and spinning around looking like loading something. I tried to open web browser or MS Word, but it is not allowing me to do anything but just keep on flashing. I need to push the power button to turn it off.

Within a month I am having exams so I need to revise the whole syllabus....

I am using HP Compaq CQ58-bf9WM, Laptop 15.6", 320 GB with Windows 2012 server.

Recently I have started facing one strange issue with charging. When I remove the battery from the laptop and connect to the AC power it is not at all turning on. I am having a server with Ubuntu running in it. I am having another system with Windows 7.

When I am trying to connect to Ubuntu server using putty from my Windows 7 it is throwing an error "access denied". But when I am using the same credentials in Ubuntu server, it is working fine.

What could be the issue here? How can I troubleshoot this issue? Please help out. Your help in this regard will be highly appreciated. I thank you so much in advance.

I am using a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop with Windows 7. I have installed Ubuntu 14.04 LTS along with Windows 7.

My C drive is having Windows 7, D drive is having Ubuntu. Previously I use to have an E drive but now it got disappeared. In the disk management tool, it is Being shown as logical partitions.

Can I delete that logical partition? If I do that, will it be shared between the C and D drives? Or that will simply remain uninitialized? Please share your thoughts here. Thanks a lot in advance and regards.
