I planned to realize my small business involving 11 computer units, including the server. The type of my business is internet gaming and savvy. I am using Microsoft Windows XP SP2 home edition and I am having a problem with my PC’s performance. The issue of which I am been victim is that whenever I use to open more than three windows of my internet browser, my computer goes hanged and everything stops responding.

Even after this I cannot shut down or restart my PC because the computer is suppose to be totally jammed than. I have tried lot of things to overcome at this issue but I am not been able to fix this issue via any of my adopted method.

Role of WINS in Networking

We are presently writing an application in Java. This application scans a predefined set of folders and gets a list of files in each of them. Then the application reads the file as a byte array. Next it calls a Web Service to submit the binary image. Lastly it moves the files to a different location. These set of actions work perfectly. The problem we have is that the java application is picking the file when in reality, the file is not complete as yet. How do we prevent this?

I have been working online for 1-2 years as a freelancer. I have come across some jobs that either need PDF files to be edited or data collected from them. I having difficulty collecting data from PDF files because one can't edit them or cut and paste data.  So, it's become a very time consuming job.  What I could have done in 30 minutes takes more than 60 minutes, so its very important  that I find some tool to edit PDF files.

I have never used Apple's Macintosh Operating system. But I have heard that it never gets affected by Viruses!

As a user of windows OS, it is really hard to believe that an operating system never gets affected by viruses.

How is it possible and what are the reasons of too much virus in Windows Operating System?

Is there any possibility of any new virus that will attack Macintosh operating system?
