An error has occurred on running Malwarebytes

Hello! I got this on my Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware program when I tried to run it. How can I fix this? I already reported to Support Team but hadn’t heard from them since yesterday.

An error has occurred on running Malwarebytes

Solution 1

The problem you’ve encountered is due to a corrupted update file of malware bytes, try downloading from the malwarebytes websites and try to install it, Then run the program again if it works.….

Or another way of updating the file is look for mbam-clean.exe on Google, download and install this program, try to disable your antivirus. This will overwrite the existing files. Then after installation kindly register your antivirus again in order to get updated files again. Restart PC and  run the program again.

Some instances some PC or this could be a problem of low virtual memory try adjusting it

Click start, right double click my computer, and right click, choose properties,

Go advance tab > performance >and find virtual memory button, adjust memory size, click ok.. then restart PC

Solution 3

Try using a registry cleaner or optimizer as this could be a result of registry problem.

Download a registry cleaner software and install and then run the program .. hope this will help
