Hi,

My machine has encountered a problem while creating a system image.

It is indicating that one of the backup file could not be created. Look at the error message given below.

Please help.

I/0 device error. (0x8007045D)

 

Create a system image

The backup failed.

One of the backup files could not be created. (0x8078002A)

Additional Information:

The request could not be performed because of an IO device error. (0x8007045D)

Hello,

There might a problem with your external device where you’re trying to save your back up file.

Make sure that the external device is correctly connected to the computer.

Also, see that the device has enough memory.

Check all the above and try to create the backup file again.

This should solve your problem.

Hello Jamin,

To resolve that issue, you will need to check the Volume shadow copy service in services window using the following steps:

  • Click Start and type services.msc in the search box,
  • And then find the Volume shadow copy service.
  • Ensure the start- up type is automatic by going to "Search for the service"
  • And then right click on the service.
  • If the service is stopped then Start the service, and then choose Properties.
  • After that go to the Start-up  and then type select Automatic.
