Help in creating an icon for my application

I am currently creating an icon for the web based eCommerce application. Is there any standard png icon for application? Can you please suggest the standard size and format of the image?

Help in creating an icon for my application

Hi,

There are standard icon sizes when you want to create an icon for your application.

The image you use for the icon should be owned by you. You should own the copyright of the image. You can use an image of the application for your icon. You should save your icon file with ico extension. Check whether the icon is as you needed after you create it. If there are any mistakes, make sure you correct them because once you publish the application you cannot change it.

The format can be anything depending on the software you use to create the icon. It can be png or GIF or JPEG. The standard formats are:

1. For Mac – 16X16, 24X24, 32X32, 48X48 and 128X128. Pixels.

2. For windows – 24X24, 64X64, 72X72, 96X96, 180X180 and 128X128 pixels.
