Could not Install Business Analyst MXD Software

I just had my new Business Analyst MXD software and after installing it, an error message appears stating that “No valid source could be found for product ArcGIS 9.3.1 Business Analyst. The Windows installer cannot continue.”

I was just curious because I just purchased it and have done nothing but install it. I have attached the screenshot of the said error so you guys could easily identify it and help me resolve my problem.

Error 1706 No valid source could be found for product ArcGIS 9.3.1 business Analyst. The Windows installer cannot continue.

Could not Install Business Analyst MXD Software

Are you sure that you bought the right version of the business analyst MXD software for your system, because the error you are getting seems to be caused by compatibility issues. You will need to try the following as the workaround:

• First you will need to try running the installation setup one more time and see if it will go on successfully. You will first need to restart the system so as to refresh the settings.
• If that does not resolve the issue, you will need to check the system specifications and see if the software you are installing matches them. If it doesn't, you will need to go back to the shop you bought from and seek a replacement from there.
