How to change language settings in Windows XP?

My computer is bought here in Thailand, and it was set in Thai language.

Everything is in Thai so I cannot work properly with it.

I am tired of Google translation which is sometimes out of the blue. I have just downloaded Photoscape but it was also in Thai.

I don’t know how to locate the settings to change the language since I cannot understand any single word on my computer.

But someone advised me that in order to change language in Windows XP, I need to buy a genuine copy of it.

I don’t think I have it here.

Please let me know if you have suggestions.

When using windows XP, you will need to follow the procedure below to change the language settings of your computer:

You will need to open the Control Panel, and you will do that by going to Start on your computer and then click on the control panel.
In the control panel, you will need to open Regional and Language Options.
And then you will click on the Languages tab.
You will need to make sure that Supplemental language support items are checked.

After that you will need to click on the Advanced tab.
And then you will select the language from the list in the Language for non-Unicode programs As shown in the image below
