Problem report for Final Cut Pro

Hi,

I was using a latest version of Final Cut Pro 7 and working fine but now I have issue using FCP getting error “Final Cut Pro quit unexpectedly while using the Blackmagic Codec plugin”.

Can I remove this error without having any trouble? I will wait for your suggestion.

Problem report for Final Cut Pro

Please try to make several combination of frame sizes and output resolutions. If you notice the error message is displayed when you're trying to use a PNG file, enable BlackMagic stuff only for external monitoring. Try to disable this BlackMagic or turn it off.

Then set your FCP 7 "Easy setup" to

Frame rate : All rates

Blackmagic HDTV 720p 59.94 Varicam – 8 bit which is equal to 1280 x 720 res

Then, playback PNG files through sequence settings set to 29.97 fps. Then, test it with 59.94 fps after.

The magical tip here would be setting stuffs to 29.97 if you are enabling/ using Blackmagic drivers.
