A new Browser will not open.

I am having trouble updating my browser on a Dell Laptop computer.

In the control panel it shows that Mozilla Firefox is installed but when you click on it, it will not load.

A new Browser will not open.

Uninstall Firefox and all its folder and then reinstall it back. Get the latest version from the link below:

Download Mozilla Firefox Version 23.0

Alternatively, have you tried to open Firefox in Safe Mode? Do this by holding down on the Shift key on your keyboard while launching Firefox. If it doesn't work, boot from Safe Mode by restarting your computer and pressing F8 on the boot screen. See if you can start it under Safe Mode. If you can open it while on Safe Mode, maybe you have an issue with other programs on your computer such as your security software or system software.

Another way is to just simply restart your computer.
