Groove Media Player software Error

Hi Technicians,

I am here to discuss my issue and expect a positive response from you. I am using Windows 10 Operating System and have installed Groove Media Player software but when I try to play a media file an error shows up. I am not sure what to do so I will really appreciate your cooperation in this concern. Thank you!

Groove Media Player software Error

You received that error because the file you are trying to play with Groove Music on Microsoft Windows 10 is not supported. For Groove Music, the supported formats are the following:

• * .mp3
• * .flac
• * .aac
• * .m4a
• * .wav
• * .wma
• * .ac3
• * .3gp
• * .3g2
• * .amr

Also, make sure that the file you are playing is not protected by DRM or the Digital Rights Management. DRM is the systematic method to copyright protection for digital media. This means, even if your file is supported by Groove Music, if it is under DRM protection, you still won’t be able to play it.

On the other hand, if your file is not supported, try converting it to any of the supported file formats listed above. The file should be playable after that.
