HP Mini 110-3000 touchpad issue

My HP Mini 110-3000 touchpad recently stopped working while I was using the system. Not sure if I mistakenly clicked on a button that locked it. Please, how do I resolve it?

– You can try pressing the FN button and then pressing F9, this should enable you to turn the touchpad on or off

HP Mini 110-3000 touchpad issue

 

Hello,

 

This is a very simple question if it does not have anything to do with application conflict. Usually HP mini netbooks have their touchpad ON or OFF button just at the top of the touchpad itself. If there is nothing in there, hold down the FN button on your keyboard and then press F9. This is the shortcut key for touchpad enable or disable.

 

 

If this did not solve the issue, try booting up your computer and it will turn back the way it should be.

 

If this issue is still unresolved, you can go to HP support drivers to uninstall and reinstall the driver or run the HP Diagnostics Solution to find what is wrong with your HP Mini 110-3000 netbook.

HP Mini 110-3000 touchpad issue

A simple trick is to press and hold on the Function (FN) button and press F9. This will work if your computer doesn't have a FN key. And also, look for the touch pad icon or Synaptics Pointing Device On your netbook and check if there is anything wrong with the settings.  You can also refer to the manual of your netbook and check for the correct settings.
