Hi friends,

I am facing a problem about how can I output to OneNote 2010 from Snagit? Will the OneNote 2007 accessory work?

I find OneNote 2010 more useful and popular among people than OneNote 2007. Whenever I want to update snagit output for OneNote 2010 I am met with the following error:

The OneNote 2007 accessory could not update the section because it is read-only.

Section is Read-Only

The OneNote 2007 accessory could not update the section because it is read-only.

                                                                                                OK

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Please help me in resolving it.

I'll be waiting for your response.

Regards.

Jane

OneNote 2007 as you said is commonly used by businesses and people nowadays, hence, Microsoft developed it in such a way that it creates backup of your notes with the file extension of “.one.backup”. The backups are write-protected by default so what you’ll do is to try to change attributes of the files by unchecking the read-only checkbox on the properties of the files. Then try updating your OneNote 2007.
