Htc one m8 not picking Wi-Fi

I just updated my htc one m8 to the new android OS 5.0.1 and I am having a problem with my Wi-Fi connection. I have a saved home connection and whenever it goes out of range, the Wi-Fi does not get back-on. I am having this problem for a few days, can anyone help me with this?

Htc one m8 not picking Wi-Fi

When upgrading the phone's operating system, sometimes they come with bugs which make some of the functionality of the phone unresponsive. This might explain the reason why your phone is not picking up wi-fi. To fix this, restore your phone to factory settings and repeat the update process once again. This should solve your issue. If that dose not work, you should consider taking your phone to the self care center.
