How does MS PowerPoint related to VBA?

MS powerpoint is always used for presentation. How much it the effective tool of presentations. VBA is the technology regarding to the powerpoint and how much it is related to the powerpoint or isn't relevant to it? What effect the VBA has on the presentations of powerpoint?

How does MS PowerPoint related to VBA?

The effect of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) in MS Power Point is a feature that you can really use to make an effective and engaging presentations, and it's really easy to figure out most features from the user interface. However, despite the wonderful set of features in the standard PowerPoint user interface, you just might want to find an easier way to perform mundane, repetitive task, or to perform some task that the user interface doesn't seem to address.

Gladly, Office applications, such as, PowerPoint has VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), a programming language that lets you extend those applications. VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) works by processing macros, step by step procedures written Visual Basic. Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is to automate repetitive tasks. Example: Let's say that you have  a presentation that contains many empty text boxes that you want to erase or delete. Instead of going to each of the slide and finding, selecting and deleting each empty text box, you can have a PowerPoint VBA macro do it for you.

A common reason to use PowerPoint Visual Basic is to add new capabilities to PowerPoint. Example: you may create a Visual Basic macro that runs in the exact middle of your application, no matter how many slides you have, and pops a message that states, how much time that you have left for your presentation. How does MS PowerPoint related to VBA?

Hi Reema,

Microsoft Powerpoint as presentation tool has a lot of features that it comes with, but sometimes there is a need to extend those features for better results, especially if you cannot readily find then in the menu bar or from the icons.

That's when you need to use Visual Basic Application. Although Visual Basic Application ( or Editor ) is a programming tool and most people find programming not to be  a 'thing' for them, it comes in handy when sometimes you need to perform some repetitive tasks or some tasks the user interface cannot readily perform. You can access it by pressing ALT+F11 key combination on the keyboard.
