The pc booster software CCleaner Portable 3.19 is very effective. I’m having trouble when running with AVG antivirus. What should I do now?

Here are a list of applications that may prove to be conflicting when installed along side AVG.

The problem that arises when you try to install and utilize Ccleaner along side AVG anti-virus is that the former tries to erase all the log files, update info and scan files of the latter. So, it is suggested to uninstall Ccleaner when you want to install AVG and use it.

Or

Since you lose some of the AVG files including the update info, I suggest you to check if AVG is updated and scanning has been performed completely also check the scan results before using Ccleaner.

If the problem is unsolved revert back with more details.

The Improved CCleaner Portable 3.19

I think this is only an isolated case because back in our office before we are running both AVG antivirus and CCleaner on every computer and there seems to be no problem. If it’s really happening to you, maybe it’s because you are using an older version of AVG antivirus. Try upgrading your antivirus to the latest version. Visit AVG Internet Security 2014 to download the latest version.

This is the first time I’ve heard that CCleaner had a conflict with AVG antivirus. Once downloaded, uninstall AVG from your computer, restart your machine, and then run the newly download installer to install the latest version, AVG Internet Security 2014. Check if CCleaner will have a conflict again with AVG.

If you are also using an older version of CCleaner Portable, visit CCleaner Download Builds to download the latest edition of CCleaner Portable. The page contains several versions. Just download the build you want. If you want the full desktop version, go to Piriform CCleaner Free to download the latest version.

The latest edition supports 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1.
