The Latest AkelPad Portable 4.7.6

Hello friend,

Portable AkelPad is the portable version of AkelPad designed to be able to run from a USB flash driver or any other portable device. Its a small, fast and feature packed, open source text editor. Its features are single window mode and Multi window mode, full support of Unicode codepages, support DOS formats, preview file open, correct pseudo graphics displaying, multi level undo, remember file code page and caret position, Fast search, support language modules and plug in support.

In this version also some new features are available : Multi line search, Fixed some errors like regular expression support, cycle search and applying delimiters settings.

The system requirements are :

• OS : Windows ( all )
• RAM : 256 mb
• Memory required : 4 mb

This is a freeware, so you can download it free. The new Portable AkelPad 4.7.6 is getting some attention from the user side, it may become a popular software.

The Latest AkelPad Portable 4.7.6

This is one great application which I had been using since 2011 when I first learned about it. It’s actually a great replacement or an alternative for Windows’ own Notepad. Similar to Notepad, AkelPad is also a plain text editor which does more than the traditional plain text editor. It supports different Unicode such as UTF-16BE, UTF-8, UTF-32BE, UTF-16LE, and UTF-32LE. It also supports print preview and printing of the document, multi-level undo, fast search and replace of text strings, and more.

It also allows previewing of the file to be opened. One great thing about this application is that it has the ability to remember the location of the cursor within the document when you left it like for example if you highlighted some words before you close the file. The latest version is 4.8.3 and is available at AkelPad Portable. This version supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
