Hello experts,

How to perform in iPad Skype accept files?

I installed Skype in my new iPad and I am wondering if it is possible for my friends and relatives to send files in my Skype account using my iPad or is it capable of accepting files from my Skype account using my iPad?

I hope you can give me an exact answer about this issue.

How to perform in iPad Skype accept files?

Hello!

Yes. It is possible to accept files through Skype in your iPad. 

Here is how:

1. Log in to Skype account and enter your username and password.

2. Once it is online, click “File”. Click “Change Online Status” next and then click “Online”.

3. When you are already connected, ask the desired contact to send you a file.  Give them a message that you are ready so they can send you a file.  All they have to do is drag the file to be sent and drop it to your name on their list, or they can right-click your name and click “Send File”

4. You will then be notified.  Accept the file by clicking "Save As."

5. Choose a folder where to save the file.

6. Wait for it to finish the transfer.  You will see a window with the transfer progress.  Keep the window open until it is completed.

7. Once it is finished, you can either click “Open” to load the file or click “Open Folder” to show where it is saved.

How to perform in iPad Skype accept files?

Hello,

You can receive Skype files on your iPad,and you have to do some basic to receive files on Skype, Just click “File” then “change online status” then click “Online” When you receive the notification accept the file transfer.

Then you should click "Save as" and select the where you want to save the file when the transfer is finished.
