What would be the best tool for ubuntu sound conversion?

I use Ubuntu Linux as my home laptop. When you are trying out multimedia you have two choices, either you get an application that plays many formats or you look for a converter to be able to change file formats whenever you need to play them. I am looking for the latter option, what is the best application for Ubuntu sound conversion to allow playing all possible formats?

I found this application very hady, also I'm fan of it. It's called Mobile Media Converter, and you can find it here: https://miksoft.net/mobileMediaConverterDown.php

This application besides all audio formats can convert video formats as well. It's very fast and good application. It converts files with great quality and speed. It is made specifically for phones but it is very good for desktop computers. You will periodically get new updates.
