Most of the Free softwares are bundles with some important downloads and automatically get themselves registered in the registry. How to prevent these??

Antivirus software is really recommended on your computer. It used as resident shield for your computers. It protects your computers from viruses and spywares. It serves as your computer’s protection. It is also a tool used for your computers. Experts really suggested using antivirus in order to block viruses. Viruses affect your hard disk. Hard disk is the most essential part of a computer. Antivirus should be used for your computers in order to make works successfully. But people sometimes suspected antivirus software causes the slowing of computers but there is no evidence. I think there is really no way of preventing a program from entering the Windows registry especially if you are installing the program. It is the normal process done by default. Actually, any files stored in your hard drive can go to the registry not only the programs you install.

But that doesn’t mean that all your files in your hard drive are written in the registry. It doesn’t work that way. For example, you have a file stored in your drive D called “The secrets of summer.doc”. It is kept in your hard drive but that doesn’t mean that it is already written or added in the Windows registry.

If you open the file maybe for reading, that’s the only time that the name of the file will be written in the registry and it is automatic and cannot be prevented. If you are using Microsoft Office Word, you can find recently opened files here: [HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice12.0WordFile MRU].

If you are using a registry cleaner, it can clean the Windows registry for files that are recently accessed. For applications that write to the registry during the installation, this is done by default and cannot be prevented. Removing the entries they created in the registry will damage the program and will prevent them from running.

If you want to protect your computer from programs that maliciously writes something to the registry without your knowledge, always keep your antivirus up and running and make sure to keep it well updated.
