Problem with Cursor of Dell Laser Mouse(PS2)?

I have been using a Dell Laser Mouse for past two years, recently it has started dragging its cursor itself, creating problem to operate, with it, what can I do to rectify it. Is it problem at hardware level or at software level? Do I need to upgrade and buy a new one or will any solution work?

Hi Coury Timmons,

I'm sorry to hear of your dilemma. Unfortunately, you will need to get a new mouse as the troubleshooting method would only be a waste of your precious time. I experienced the same problem and the troubleshooting did nothing for me. Dell is a great brand but others are there too, like Logitech, Razer, HP, Sony and Belkin just to name a few.
