Problem with keyboard on Sony Vaio Laptop

Hi !

My keyboard on Sony Vaio laptop started to print also the letters that are near the one that I want to print, for example 'l' with 'k' and 'f' with 'd', etc. When I turn on Caps Lock this problem disappears. I don't want to reinstall Windows as I can't backup all my files and I can't lose them too, so I would appreciate advice that doesn't involve new Windows. Thank you.

Hello Brenda Lopez,  There is nothing serious.you don't need to have reinstall the window. There is a problem with keyboard dictionary, Which you are using currently. Please turn on the T9 dictionary. As you turns it on, All the keys in keyboard will start behave normally. This does not matter that you switch on the caps lock or it is off. It does not operate any specific operation.

There might be the problem with keyboard setting or language.
Try to restore the setting of your keyboard also try to check which keyboard type you are using. Then go to the language setting and check that it is what you want e.g. US or UK. There will be a problem with these two.
Otherwise, try to check the dictionary which is auto correctly the word.
