Hi Brian,

Please see the below code:

<?php
$reglob = ini_get('register_globals');
if($reglob == 1){
echo "register_globals ON";
} else {
echo "register_globals OFF";
}
?>

Save the scripts below with name check.php/etc.. And upload to your hosting by calling the file check. 

PHP from your browser.

Hello Brian,

PHP which stands for Hypertext Pre Processor has commonly used server scripting language around the world. You can find lots of websites that are created using PHP.  PHP is included lot of features that will be helpful to developers. As you said you are a newbie to PHP world I’m very happy to help you with this.
