LCD Brightness Controller, help to save battery consumption

I am using a PC with Windows XP and Asus LCD Monitor for which I need an LCD Brightness Controller which will help to save battery consumption which will also be good for our eyes as well. I require it as an App without any additional equipment.

Hi Boucher

My suggestion is that you try a freeware called Desktop Lighter. You can download it on cnet. Desktop Lighter minimizes on to the tray and its screen brightness reducing capabilities translates to less power consumption. Another option is Monitor Brightness Reducer which also uses a small portion of your ram and saves battery power.

LCD Brightness Controller, help to save battery consumption

First of all I must say I like your Idea on conserving the environment. Any way you don’t really need a third party software to help you with this. Just simply select the control panel > select the brightness section and adjust your brightness to a desired amount that will help you conserve energy and also be comfortable to your eyes.
