How To Resolve The 0x80042108 Error?

Hello, The error 0x80042108 usually occurs due to missing or corrupted PST files or due to some third party antivirus software. When this error occurs, the user will not be able to check or send the emails in outlook. Follow the below methods to fix this.

Method 1:

Using Microsoft Outlook’s safe mode to fix the error.

• Hold Windows Key + R; this will open run dialogue box.
• Enter “Outlook/safe” in the space of the Run dialog box and click on Ok.

Method 2:

Sometimes, the error may occur due to third-party antivirus software. To resolve this error, disable the software temporarily or you can also uninstall and reinstall some other good antivirus software.

The above methods work for all the versions of the Microsoft Outlook.
