Installation error named as 0xc190001e2 error code that occurs when a preinstall script fails to execute or return an error. The message for this error is MOSETUP_E_PREINSTALL_SCRIPT_FAILED. The user has to reset the Windows Update Components to resolve this error code and the steps to do this process are as follows:
Step 1: Install the Windows Update Troubleshooter.
Step 2: Open the file and select the Windows Update option.
Step 3: Click on the Advanced option.
Step 4: Select ‘Run as administrator.’
Step 5: Select Windows Update again then click on Next option.
Step 6: Wait for the process to complete and close the window.
Step 7: Repeat the process again and select the second option from the Windows Network Diagnostics list -> click Next.
