Hello. If you are facing the error: 0xC1900101 – 0x30018, while updating your Windows version from 7 to 10 or 8 to 10. Many windows users face this issue due to missing registry keys, I have listed some possible solutions to fix the error follow them.
Method 1:
• Step 1: Hold Windows key + R, enter re-edit in the dialogue box, click on ok.
• Step 2: In the left page go to “computer/ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/Current version/ windows update/ OS upgrade.
• Step 3: In the left pane, now right-click and select “new DWORD” (32-bit).
• Step 4: Rename it as AllowOSUpgrade.
• Step 5: Change its value to 1, close the dialog box, and run updates.
Method 2:
Reset components of Windows Updates.
• Step 1: Open command prompt.
• Step 2: Run it as an administrator.
• Step 3: In the command prompt, enter the following commands, and after each command, click on Enter.
• Step 4: After completing all the commands, restart your PC.
