Continuous beep tone from my CPU for nothing

Hello Everyone,

Recently I wanted to switch on my PC. My system boots with beep tone but nothing appears on the screen.

After that I tried to clean up my CPU and I cleared all the dust on motherboard and checked all connections are OK.

Clearing the graphics card I resolved my issue. But this time after about 20 minutes I heard from my CPU continuous beeping and my monitor became darken.

My PC is running smoothly but there is still continuous beep tone and my monitor light is very low. I tasted my monitor. There is no problem. What can I do now?

I would venture a guess to say it's either the video card or the keyboard not being plugged in (without knowing the exact model of your motherboard).

 

If the keyboard is fully plugged in, then I'd look to see if your video card requires any extra power connectors from the power supply to be plugged in to work properly. If you post more information about your motherboard or your computer, we'll be able to help you out more

Hi,

First, check your power supply. If it is ok, then check your PC casing power button, and also check all CPU connections. Turn off your RAM and put in another slot, and also check your hard drive connection. If it's all ok, you can check the monitor power then starts your PC, and it will work, because some problem with RAM are solved when we clean the CPU.

Hi there,

First I want to thank you for giving us a better description about the problem. I would like to know the motherboard you are using now. I studied about your problem and I am almost sure that it is your graphics card problem. Usually during startup the BIOS checks every component that is being used by your motherboard. If that get any problem in any of the components than it usually let us know by beeping. Different motherboard gives different kind of beeps for different motherboards.

I want to suggest you to change with a graphics card and check if that gives same beeps than you have to check RAM and power supply too. But I think it will be OK after changing the graphics card.
