I have a Windows 7 PC, a 64-bit machine. I am getting an error whenever I play Black Ops. I have all the links required for downloading DX11, but should we have to reinstall Windows if we want to reinstall DX11? Someone provide me with instructions on how to repair or reinstall DX11.

DirectX 11 is the latest generation of application programming interfaces where it maintains the relationship between the operating system and multimedia hardware like your graphics cards or sound cards.

There are two parts of DirectX or D11, one is the API files available in the system32 folder, and the other one is the drivers that supply DirectX features for your graphics card. You can only uninstall and reinstall the drivers through Control Panel, that is, by uninstalling it and reinstalling again.
