I was being prompted with the windowsupdate_8024001B error code when I tried to complete installing a windows update. How is this caused? Can I fix this error?

The cause of these kinds of error is either improper system configuration or incorrect entries in the system registry.

These errors are generally not caused by the user. These errors are because of the system configuration problem.
