Yahoo Messenger calling error with webcam

Hi there,

I bought a new webcam for my PC and I want to make a video call but this error appears when I want to do so with Yahoo Messenger. I don’t know what is not working since the webcam and the Yahoo are up to date. Anyone can help me please with this ? What I did wrong ?

Hello,

Yahoo Messenger is a great chatting application to review inbox, do chatting with others using one’s Yahoo account. It is so great. Unfortunately, it’s not working with you so here’re the troubleshooting steps.

First, download and install the latest Yahoo Messenger. Uninstall the older one and install the latest. Download Yahoo Messenger.

Next, check your webcam for any trouble. Check that it is plugged in perfectly and working OK. Also, check that any other application isn’t using your webcam. If so, close them first and try again. For surety, restart your PC.

Also, check that your webcam is selected in Yahoo Messenger.
