Windows Package Manager launch with an incorrect format

Hello,

When I want to install System Architect XP this error message appears. Nothing happens when I click OK and I have to restart the install and the same error appears. Can anyone help me please to fix this ? What is the problem ?

Windows Package Manager launch with an incorrect format

Hello John

I think you meant System Architect XT. 

This error is a known issue as per Microsoft Knowledge base. It occurs when one is trying to run a 32 bit Framework directory in an 64 bit environment.

Here is what you do

(a) Open command prompt.

(b) Navigate to the 64-bit .NET Framework folder ("Framework64").

(c) Run the aspnet_regiis.exe /i command while you are inside it.

If the same is returned once again then try the following

(a) Go to Add/Remove Programs

(b) Then go to turn Windows features on or off

(c) Then Internet Information Services

(d) The World Wide Web services. Here enable ASP.NET checkbox.
