What is the best software for Ubuntu virus scan?

Tell me more about your Ubuntu operating system antivirus and share with me how secure your files are when you are using the said application.

Ubuntu like any other Linux distribution don't have much viruses. You can count them on one hand. But if you want to have more security then I recommend ClamAV Antivirus since it's best open source antivirus. You can install it by typing this to terminal: sudo apt-get install clamav clamtk

You can also use Avast or AVG which are also popular on Windows.

What is the best software for ubuntu virus scan?

Hi  

For Linux there is no such a risk from virus. Infecting a Linux machine is very hard to do. If you want protect your machine with high security it’s good to have a virus scanning software around though. 
 
So I suggest you to install Avast Anti virus software, because it has a great Linux GUI and easy to update definitions and scan the folders of your choice
