How to uninstall preloaded apps on a rooted Android phone

My Android phone is rooted. Under the applications management, I was expecting I’d get an uninstall button for the pre-installed/stock apps but I don't have it. I was told to go to System then apps and delete the apk file, but is that all? Are there any other methods I can try? Perhaps, some other apps I can use to uninstall other apps?

How to uninstall preloaded apps on a rooted Android phone

Uninstalling the preloaded apps by yourself is not a good idea. The best way is to let the software do the job so that there won't be any problems for the system.

There are small apps that do the work for you in this case. I would recommend one of the following options:

1. Root Uninstaller – this is specifically designed to uninstall any bugging program or app on your phone. It is capable of uninstalling both system and regular apps, and also freeze bloatware, back up your system, hide apps, and so on.

2. SystemApp Remover – the same as the above, but with an extra function of restoring uninstalled or hidden apps, also, it has the option of clearing the data out of an app, disable it, uninstall it, or even backup the data from that app.
