If running a registry cleaner causes this error, check if it is compatible with your operating system. If you have a 64-bit Microsoft Windows, there should be no problem installing a 32-bit program because it will be opened in 32-bit compatibility mode. If the product is perfectly compatible with your operating system, try reinstalling it.

Uninstall it, restart your computer and then install it back. See if this fixes the problem. Also, try upgrading the program to the latest version. Another way is to use a different registry cleaner.
