Problem regarding saving of jpeg file

I downloaded an update from Microsoft. Whenever I save a jpeg or anything else, the title to what I saved is not visible in the "Save box". I would then save it again & it would say it already exist and would ask to overwrite it. When I leave the internet & look at it through windows, it's there. When I go back on the internet & save another jpeg/file to the exact location, nothing is there except what I saved before I downloaded the update. What to do?

Problem regarding saving of jpeg file

How do you save the images? It’s just right clicking the image and selecting “Save image as” then you can choose the file type you want the image to be save as. See the image below.

              

When you save an image from the web you have a list of options that you can select on what file type you are going to save the image. By clicking one of them for example the JPEG image format, when you clicked that it will show you all the images that you previously saved with a file extension of .jpg so you can see if the picture already exist or not.
