Google Excel sheet edit problem in Microsoft Office

I have a Google Excel sheet. I need this document for offline use but when I downloaded it, it opened on protected mode.

Is there any option to edit this document in my local PC.

 I am using office 2010.

Google Excel sheet edit problem in Microsoft Office

Good day Barkley,

You cannot seem to edit document Google Excel sheet, huh? I have experienced similar issue like this before. I'll give you a tip on how to fix this.

Here are some steps that you need to do:

• Protected mode has to be disabled
• Open Microsoft Office 2011, Go to File Menu and Click Options
• Trust Center has to be selected in the left panel of the screen
• A dialog box will appear, click disable protected mode in the left screen
• Disabled Protected view has to be disabled of failed to validate if downloaded from the Internet because this might be an attachment file or in an unknown location.
• Click OK, close Microsoft Office 2010 then manually uncheck the options in other applications.
