The master of computer I want to ask, if Windows 7 ultimate SP1 can run stable and good on dual core 2140 1.6 GHz processor. I want to upgrade from windows XP SP3 to Windows 7, but fear it may not be compatible.

Please help the master.
Specifics of my computer:
  • Asus p5gc-mx
  • 2 x ddr2 2.5 GB
  • Intel dualcore e2140
  • VGA card his ati radeon 4650 512MB
  • DVD combo Samsung

You can install Windows 7 with the configuration you mentioned.  As Windows 7 needs at least 1GB  of RAM you have 2.5 GB, that's  great and your processor will handle Windows 7 as it is a dual core after all and about your graphics it is also ok  for Windows 7 to function properly.  512MB is not bad for the aero effects of the Windows 7.

Over all don't worry, you are good to go to upgrade your PC to Windows 7.
