Problem in opening Mozilla Firefox

Hi!

When I try to open Mozilla Firefox, I am getting the following error message:

[Exception… “Component returned failure code: 0x80570015

(NS_ERROR_XPC_CI_RETURNED_FAILURE) [nsIJSCID.createInstance]” nresult: “0x80570015

(NS_ERROR_XPC_CI_RETURNED_FAILURE)” location: “JS frame :: chrome://skype_ff_extension/content/browserOverlay.js :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 7” data: no]

Many videos and some other items don't show up.

Need your help.

Problem in opening Mozilla Firefox

Hi

 

The problem you are facing is that your Firefox is not working properly so you need to install the Firefox. The error picture is showing that there is something missing in the Firefox you are using to install so the solution of this problem is:

1. Either chose the other version of the software and install that version might be this version has some problem that's why it is not properly installing

2. The other option is that the backup of the Firefox is corrupted or there is some file which missing in the backup due to which is not installing so take the new copy of the backup or download it and then install it will install.

Hope this will get you rid of the problem.

Problem in opening Mozilla Firefox

 

Well, I had the same problem until a couple of days ago. I have a laptop and a desktop and did different things.

On the laptop I uninstalled all of my Firefox extensions. Of course that solved the problem. 🙂

On my desktop I disabled several Firefox extensions that I wasn't really using. I also tweaked my antivirus software (Kaspersky 2010) –> in the end that is what did the trick. Now, when I close down my browser, I do not get the error message. I have re-installed Xmarks on my laptop browser (and done the same antivirus tweaks) and now it's working good too.

You can try out this solutions and hope this will workout for you as well.
