Hello,

Usually I used computer without any errors, but yesterday night during a window update the computer froze, then tech blue screen error occur with this message "Technical Info STOP: 0X0000007E (0XC0000047, 0X804FCF44, 0XF8A7884c, 0XF8A7889C) The system was shut down to prevent damages" So what this error code means? 

What will be the solution?

Hi,

In windows operating systems blue screens is a result of drive and hardware malfunctions it’s a classic result of serious errors.

Malfunctions of drivers and hard wares is a serious cause of blue screens which means to prevent system damage, windows operating system close down and requires a manual computer reboot.

But because blue screens also include information of errors and codes, it is advantageous to freeze them.

The first step to deal blue screens is write down the error codes on a piece of paper then press Crtl+Alt+Del, while PC is rebooting press F8 repeatedly, when the windows advanced menu comes up, select the last known good configuration option, the system will roll and will be able to load, but if not, now you can think of a larger problem, there could be more programs causing it.

If possible open up your PC and remove all hard wares just remain the hardware that can run the PC and see what happens.

1. Restart your computer
 
Sometimes the blue screen comes out only once and then not again for a second time. In this case, a simple restart is just what you need to resolve the blue screen crash.
On the other hand, if the problem is more regular.
 
2. Replace your random access memory (RAM)
 
RAM is a hardware that is permanently installed inside the computer's motherboard. It is a rectangular piece that holds the information. This is where the CPU gets the instructions. And once this equipment is not functioning normally, without doubt, the computer crash in the blue screen. And so, the replacement of the RAM can be a solution.
 
3. Run a registry cleaner

Blue screen or BSOD occurs when a new hardware is installed but may be not compatible with your hardware specifications or in most cases this is caused by improper shutdown as the hard drive is not able to park its head properly or sometimes caused by a bad software installation.

Now, boot up Windows then press F8 key after the BIOS information is shown. On the menu select 'safemode with command prompt' then wait as windows start on this option. When prompted if the computer should start in safemode environment, click YES. Now your in windows safemode.

Click start button, click run then type CMD or cmd as this will pop out the command prompt screen. Then in the command prompt screen type: chkdsk /r and wait for the process to end at 100%. After this, restart the pc as you would do on the normal windows environment. Now let windows start normally, BSOD should be gone.

Why you got this problem is because the updates because either one of the updates was not correct. This is why the computer shut down to protect it from harm. You can solve this problem by Restoring Windows XP to Factory Settings. Reboot your computer and quickly start pressing F8, for 3-5 times a menu with different options will appear on your screen, select the option Last Known Good Configuration and press Enter or you can either solve this by running recovery console using windows XP CD.

Start the computer from the Windows XP CD-ROM; you must configure the basic input/output system (BIOS) of the computer to start from your CD-ROM. To run the Recovery Console from the Windows XP CD-ROM. Insert the Windows XP CD-ROM into the CD drive, and then restart the computer, Click to select any options that are required to start the computer from the CD drive if you are prompted, When the "Welcome to Setup" screen appears, press R to start the Recovery Console.

If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot computer, select the installation that you must access from the Recovery Console. When you are prompted, type the Administrator password. If the administrator password is blank, just press ENTER. At the Recovery Console command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: disable intelppm. Exit the Recovery Console by typing exit at the Recovery Console command prompt and press Enter.

Restart the computer exit. Finally,you can also solve the problem by repairing the registry but for safety reasons it’s advised that you back up. The procedure to back the registry is; Click Start, Run, type %SystemRoot%system32restorerstrui.exe, and then click OK.

On the Welcome to System Restore page, click Create a restore point, and then click next. On the Create a Restore Point page, type a name for the restore point and then click Create. After the restore point has been created, click Close. If System Restore is turned off, you receive a message that asks whether you want to turn on System Restore now. Click Yes.

Then, in the System Properties dialog box, click to clear the Turn off System Restore check box, click OK, and then repeat this step. After backing up restart the computer and press on F8 and select the safe mode Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK. Locate and then click the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMControlSet001ServicesIntelppm In the right pane, right-click the Start entry, and then click Modify. In the Value data box, type 4, and then click OK. Exit Registry editor. Restart your computer.
