Hello techyv!!!!!
I am using a Sony Vaio XP home OEM.I want a recovery CD. Is there any way to get a recovery CD? Thanks in advance.

Sony vaio XP home OEM

Sony Vaio system usually comes with a set of recovery CD-Rs or DVD-Rs. But in case if you lost it there is no way to get one because nobody sells the recovery media, instead you have to make a one yourself. But you do have some options. Get a call to SONY and ask them a recovery CD by telling that your CD has some damage. I think they would send a copy for a small cost. Else you can make a copy yourself. Carefully read the Vaio documentation which is already installed in your system. Then you can get an idea how to create a recovery CD exactly.

Note: You cannot create a recovery media by giving F10 at boot instead you will end up with a recovery partition to "Reinstall" from the system
