Error encountered in Microsoft Excel

I met an error as I was opening  the Microsoft Excel. It stated

Error Starting Microsoft Excel.

Turbo Law could not start Microsoft Excel to display your document. The error was : Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID (00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046) failed due to the following error: 80040154.

I think my Excel has a problem. I did try removing the Excel then installed it again. I restarted the computer and again opened it but same error still existed.

I need some help guys.

Error encountered in Microsoft Excel

By default, the Microsoft Excel is used as a COM object, it can be activated by Administrator,  System, and Interactive accounts. And when you are running your web application on Windows Server 2003, it is running under ASPNET account.

Error encountered in Microsoft Excel

You can solve your problem then. This issue occurs for being loading malfunctioning program.

• To start with; go to Excel menu and select the tools then add-ins form.
• From the add-ins dialog box marked out all the checks from the box and click OK.
• Close the Excel after it. Navigate your XL start directory using Windows Explorer from your computer, if any files are present there please do remove it and transfer it to other location temporarily.
• Now, restart your computer. See then if your problem is solved.
