How to dual boot Ubuntu with Windows 7

Hi,

This is my little problem: I want to install Ubuntu in a dual boot with W7. I had a partition, not formatted to 25 GB. I had booked for Linux.

I wanted to have a greater capacity, so I reduced the score of Seven, which has to create a new non-formatted too, 50 GB, and I would therefore be 25+50 for Ubuntu.

I have found a software, which normally allows, Easeus, but can not find where?

Gparted not want, because I read that, it is a hassle to use. Am I wrong?

I would like to know other options.

Dear Ryan,

Making a dual boot with Ubuntu and Windows 7 is cool and I have also dual boot with this combination. Regarding your hard drive partition management issue, Easeus is good software and allow user to manage partition easily.

You can download the free or trial version from their website:

https://www.easeus.com/download.htm

The trial version can be tested for 15 days so I will suggest you to purchase it before the trial period ends. Always use a trusted software.

GParted is not user friendly, you are right. As far as other solution, you can use partition magic software.
