Citrix Meta Frame – Installation Error

Hi,

I am trying to install citrix MetaFrame on a computer to be installed in our operation center to manager our XEN servers.

When I try to install it, it gives the following error and got exited from the setup.

Installer Information

There is a problem with this Windows Installer package.

A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

The installation media was provided by our company sr. administrator and I installed the same for three to four times on some clients computers and the same was successful but this time, it is giving me error.

Please let me know the possible solution of this problem.

Do I require a new installation CD or  is there something else preventing the installation?

When such message pops up. You can try the following steps and see which one works for you.

• Make sure that no Antivirus/Firewall programs and services are running. You also need to disable real-time scanning from your antivirus software or other real time scanning software in your computer before you go the process of installation.
• Make sure that you don’t have a software that automatically deletes files from your Temp directory.
• Make sure you are log in as Administrator.
• If it still doesn’t allow you to install, try downloading the latest version of Windows Scripting Host and Windows Installer.
