Windows Activation Error Code: 0x8007000D

Hello, TechyV!

I recently had my OS upgraded to Windows 7 Professional, and at first everything worked fine. But then after some time I began getting error 0x8007000D. I called up the person who installed it and he suggested I put in the product key. He gave me a copy of the key but the error keeps popping back. Is there any way I can verify the product key without seeing the sticker itself?

Hi Blueem,

I have experienced that error before. What I did was I formatted my machine again, then try to activate it again. But in your case you may be using a software that allows one time installation only. If that is the case then even formatting the machine will not help. If you choose to install again, ensure that you do the whole process offline and do not allow for checking for updates online till you have activated the operating system.

You are using a fake software or the technician that you ask to reformat your computer is not a licensed one because the illegal software will really make your hard easier at first but just in a few months your computer will be broken again.

Solution 1:

Buy a license software for the computer it is the best way to solve your problem and then start reformatting it again.

Solution 2:

If you don't want to buy any operating system because it is to expensive, then I recommend that you just switch to the Linux operating system. There are many types of Linux OS in the web and it is a free download. Also, no license key is needed for this operating system.

Windows Activation Error Code: 0x8007000D

To solve the problem, you can press the ""windows"" button on the keyboard + R.

 

To open the run box.

 

After that type SLUI 4 in the run box and press OK or enter.

 

Doing this it will bring out the telephone activation wizard.

 

Choose the country from the drop down and click next.

 

After clicking next there will be new instructions available, Just follow every instruction and telephone will be activated.

 

If you encounter problem and the activation failed, You might need to find telephone representative online.
