I am upgraded a Windows 8 to Go(Windows 8 CS) to Windows 8 RP. After several hours it just crashed so I forced to restart it and there comes a BSD with different error codes. What shall I do with this?

Hallo Katherine,

If the operating crashed immediately you finished upgrading it to Windows 8 RP, it could be because of several reasons:

  • The version of windows you upgraded to is not supported, and therefore you will need to check the system specification for the former version of windows and see which upgrades it does support.
  • If you used an installation CD to upgrade the operating system, it could be possible that the CD has problems, for instance, scratches or dust that caused problems associated with reading the data during the upgrade. You will therefore need to wipe the disc clean and then retry the process. Also make sure that you DVD drive is not faulty for it can as well cause such problems.

Regards,

Carl
