Hi,Â
For some reason, now when I go to Start > Control Panel , it takes me to "All Control Panel Items". It just started recently, I haven't changed any items. I want it to go to the Control Panel when I click Control Panel.
How do I do this? Thanks.

The change is simply a change in the way the icons are. it's nothing technical. Just  follow the steps given below:

In the upper-right hand corner, you should see "View by:"

Click on that drop down and select "categories".Â

That should bring it back to the original view that Windows presents.

By showing all the control panel items, I take it that you want too specific item, not all of them but categorized by function/type.

If that is the case then, you should see a small drop down menu on the upper right corner of the Control Panel Screen which is labeled "View by", change that to Categories and you will be all set.
