Why my CPU fan is not working?please help

Hi guys, I have windows 7 Ultimate PC 32 bit version powered by orbit 30 and my CPU is dual core 500.The problem is my system is not opening and when I looked into it deeply what my the reason I noticed that CPU fan in not working as when we power on CPU the first thing happens is fan starts rotating but my CPU fan is not doing so due to which sysem is not opening please help me fix this problem.Thanks in advance.

Hello, most of the times the CPU does not start because of the troubleshoot problems. This is not a big problem sometimes t even happens when your CPU fan has become bit old and also when dust comes in the fan just try to clean the fan dust free and if it won't work then contact PC repair person and look forward to get it repaired if necessary change the CPU fan.

Kevin, if the fan is not running it could be two possible reasons:
 
1. The fan is dead and you need to replace it. Some motherboards do not start if the CPU fan is not working.
 
2. The fan needs 12 volts supplied from the main power supply.  If the power supply does not turn on or has problems with the 12 volt supply you will have to replace it.
 
Are there any light on the front of your computer when you press the  on button?
 
If not, that is the problem, replace the power supply.
