I am trying to manage a client computer using Absolute Manage 4.0.  Why are my commands in Absolute Manager NAT router not executing and keeps on deferring in command queues?  I'm thinking that it is being blocked by the firewall.  Anyone having the same problem?

Hi there Jimon Sina,

When you issue a command to an agent behind a NAT router, it will not go through and you will see it deferred.

It happens because all the clients behind the firewall looks like they have the same IP address which is equal to the public IP of the router.

There are two simple solutions for this problem:

Avoid installing the agent on the router.

If you can't then just change the agent settings to use a different port than all the other clients.
