Why all these errors happen with me ?

Hi All,

I have been experiencing problems with my computer after the electrical voltage in our house dropped. Everyday, the computer would shut down a couple of times, and whenever it works, it would keep on showing an error message saying “Fail-so is corrupt. Run the test CHKDSK”. I tried checking drive D: but it suddenly stops and hangs when I reach the fourth of the five stages. I also tried rebooting the computer but all I encounter is the message “inserting an index entry into index $ 0 of file 25” showing endlessly. I really don’t know what to do anymore. I even tried running CHKDSK on drive F: but it didn’t work. I also unchecked the Startup from the registry but still not all programs would work and would even prompt me to report them as damaged or failed. I am hoping you could help me solve this problem. Thank you very much.

Hello Shady John,

It seems that your computer has been used to running on high power voltage and therefore it can work for long on the low power voltage. If that is the case then you will need to replace the battery with a brand new one which will be able to run on low power voltage. Or try connecting the charge from the computer to the power supply directly with the battery removed.

Also try adjusting the power options of your computer. You can do this by clicking on the power identity button in the task bar of your computer and then choose more power options. Change the power plan settings to low power consumption and then save the changes.
