Which is the best WYSIWYG software?
Without a doubt the most popular WYSIWYG software for developing web applications is Adobe Dreamweaver (http://www.adobe.com/products/dreamweaver.html). Based on how it is the popular choice of professionals, I guess you can say with some certainty that it is indeed the best one out there in terms of features and standards support.
Another WYSIWYG web development app is Microsoft Front Page. |It doesn't have the same following as Dreamweaver but it is just as capable as a tool.
You should also check out Quanta Plus (http://quanta.sourceforge.net/release2.php) if you are using Linux. It's an open source WYSIWYG web development tool. It does not have a Windows version so that's one problem if you are not into Linux.
Another free WYSIWYG tool is Kompozer (http://kompozer.net/). Of course it does not quite match up to commercial software but if you are on a budget or you're still trying to learn web development, then this would be ideal for you.
Hope this helps!
